Total Karting Zero at Our Eclectic Future

Total Karting Motorsport

The Total Karting Zero team were delighted to attend the Our Eclectic Future event on British Motorsport Day, in the Palace of Westminster. The event showcased a range of brands and technological leaders that are pioneers on the road towards a more sustainable future.

As we all know, alternatives to fossil fuels are desperately needed and the Westminster event highlighted that cleaner alternatives within motorsport could be widely implemented within the not-so-distant future. Each vehicle on display was a representation of the innovative engineering that’s happening within motorsport right now, which will ultimately help cleaner technology reach road cars faster, too.

Chairman of Motorsport UK, David Richards, spoke to MPs, Lords and key figures within the motorsport industry with passion about how influential motorsport is to general consumers and how the British Motorsport industry continues to set a leading example when it comes to creating a cleaner future for road cars.

As part of the event’s main display, we showcased our Total Karting Zero Bambino, Cadet and Junior e-karts and offered an insight into the innovative engineering behind them. It was a pleasure to display our karts alongside the likes of Red Bull and Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 cars, Mahindra Formula E car and a British Touring Car from Napa Racinge.

The innovation and engineering of the e-karts continues to be driven by Rob Smedley who was at the event: “It’s great to be recognised at such an early stage in our journey as part of Our Eclectic Future amongst such a high standard of innovators in British Motorsport. This has been a true testament to all the hard work this team and our partners have put into our mission so far and continue to put into our future.”
